The NCWorks Career Center offers help to get job-ready: resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search help. They also have funding for further education and will help you find your new career.

Interested in learning to code? Children, grades K-6, will explore the Scratch coding program. No experience is necessary. Join us once a month for a four-month block to learn how to make your own games, cartoons, and more!

Baby and Me is a program for children ages 6 months to 18 months and their caregivers.

Time for Tots is an interactive literacy program featuring simple stories, finger plays, songs, nursery rhymes, and movement activities. This program is for children, ages 18 - 36 months old and their caregivers.

Join us every Tuesday for a morning of Mahjong.

Have fun listening to stories, singing songs, learning rhymes, and participating in movement activities that will enhance a love of books and introduce children to a world of imagination.

Do you know the basics of Scratch? If you do, then join us for Intermediate Code Club. Children, grades K-6, will explore the Scratch coding program.

In this class we will begin on the floor with seated postures warming the body up. Then moving into standing poses as we work on balance.

MPL Book Lovers Book Club is held the 3rd Thursday of the month. This program currently has a waitlist. Please go to the Services Desk to be added to the waitlist or call 704-799-4200.

Come and see where art meets reading. Children and their caregivers are invited to join us for a story and craft. Each month we will read a different picture book and create a craft based on the title.

Knitting experts, beginners, and everyone in between are invited to join us for Knitting Group on the first and third Thursday of every month at the Main Library!
