Not Your Momma's Book Club is held on the 1st Thursday of every month.

Each month preschool children, ages 3-6 years, and their caregivers will have an opportunity to create, discover and learn different concepts using the STEAM approach. Explore something new each month.

Chair yoga improves muscle and bone strength, flexibility, better dexterity, mind clarity, improves breathing and reduces stress.

Chair yoga is the practice of yoga with the assistance of a chair, seated or standing.

Adults will receive one-on-one support with technology needs (iPads, laptops, apps, cell phones, etc.). This program is designed for adults with no or limited technology skills.

In this class we will begin on the floor with seated postures warming the body up. Then moving into standing poses as we work on balance. We will come to the floor once more with a few seated postures and end class with a body relaxation.

Knitting experts, beginners, and everyone in between are invited to join us for Knitting Group on the first and third Thursday of every month at the Main Library!

All contributors who sent in a recipe during January will receive a charming cookbook when they attend, "Cooking with Mooresville Morsels," at our West Branch location, and are entered into a drawing to win a cutting board.

Interested in learning to code? Children, grades K-6, will explore the Scratch coding program. No experience is necessary. 

Join us once a month for a four-month block to learn how to make your own games, cartoons, and more! 

Teens will be given creative art prompts for everyone to paint and make their own abstract art piece.

Emerging readers ages 5-8 are invited to join us for an interactive program promoting literacy skills followed by fun activities.

Novels at Night meets on the first Thursday of the month and is now a drop-in book club for adult fiction books. Current titles are available at the circulation desk.

Teens are invited to play a variety of Nerf-style games. All supplies provided. A waiver must be signed.
