Week Calendar

During December, the Youth Services department at the Main Branch is collecting items for our annual Diaper Tree. We will collect diapers and wipes for the Iredell Partnership for Young Children.

Do you have a delicious recipe to share? Send your recipe to Ssciarretta@mooresvillenc.gov All contributors receive a charming cookbook and are entered into a drawing to win a cutting board.

We will be collecting hats, scarves, gloves and canned goods to be donated in support of community members in need.

Join us for a 4 week “Spot It” challenge filled with snowy surprises! Each week, new winter scenes will be available to compare and to search for up to 10 differences.

It’s time to make our holiday tree sparkle!

Stop by the Youth Department, grab an ornament, and write down your favorite holiday tradition. Then hang it on the tree to share some cheer!

Finish out the year reading! We challenge you to read 300 minutes in these last two weeks of the year! Finish the book you stared and have not finished or the last few titles to complete your 2025 reading challenge.
