Chair yoga is the practice of yoga with the assistance of a chair, seated or standing.
It is an inclusive form of exercise, allowing anybody to participate regardless of age, size or mobility.
Some of the benefits from a chair yoga practice are improved muscle and bone strength, flexibility,better dexterity, mind clarity, improved breathing and stress reduction.
No yoga experience required. Anyone can do this class, all you need is the desire to want to move more, feel better about the body you are in and have fun.
Able bodied, wheelchair users, those suffering from chronic pain, MS, muscular dystrophy, SCI or stroke, all are welcomed!
